Who is responsible

ChiChakra is operated by QUATERNITY PLATFORMS LTD, a limited company registered in England and Wales, company number 14714481. Contact: baba@chichakra.com. We are the controller for personal information collected through ChiChakra for the purposes below. This notice covers the current release; future personal services will receive an updated notice before new uses begin.

Information and purposes

• Public tools: the city, timezone, date and Moon sign you choose are used to calculate and display the requested context. Public use does not require a birth profile. Browser timezone and approximate network location can help suggest a place. Device coordinates are accessed when you request device location and allow the browser prompt; choose a city manually instead if you prefer.
• Browser preferences and learning: the site remembers your selected city and Moon sign, completed lessons and knowledge-check answers locally. These remain until cleared through the available controls or your browser. Optional account saving can associate preferences and learning progress with your signed-in identity.
• Waitlist: we collect your email, selected interests, optional suggestion, consent record and confirmation status. We use them for the launch updates you request and to consider product feedback. Confirmation links expire after seven days. Email and network-address hashes and request counts help limit signup abuse.
• Support: emailed enquiries and signed-in support reports may contain your contact details, message, category, relevant page and account identifier. The in-app report stores your message; it does not itself send an email.
• Existing account records: for signed-in users who have used saving features, records may include an account identifier, preferences, saved timing windows, optional birth date/time/place and time confidence, voluntarily recorded life events and interpretation permissions, learning completions and review notes. The current public Dashboard, My Chart and Journey interfaces are deferred; public forecasts do not use an individual birth profile.
• Security and delivery: hosting, authentication, email and analytics providers may process network address, browser/device information, request time and technical logs to deliver and protect their services.
• Optional analytics: after you allow it, Google Analytics measures sanitised public page visits and waitlist actions. We do not include submitted emails, birth details, private messages, query strings or private page titles in our analytics event payloads. Google receives technical connection information when its script is loaded.

Please avoid medical information, religious beliefs or other sensitive details in free text. Ordinary public tools do not need them. Permission to record a life event is separate from any permission for future interpretation. No private-data training feature is enabled in this release.

Our legal bases

• Providing requested features: contract, or steps you request before a contract, for calculations, saving functions and handling related service enquiries.
• Consent: optional analytics, launch-update emails and optional uses specifically presented for consent. You can withdraw consent without affecting the lawfulness of earlier use.
• Legitimate interests: keeping the service secure, preventing abuse, handling general correspondence, correcting errors and understanding voluntarily supplied product feedback. We balance these interests against your rights and minimise the information involved.
• Legal obligations: responding to valid legal requirements and keeping records required by law.

Providing an email is necessary to receive waitlist emails. A city/date is necessary for location-specific timing; a Moon sign is necessary for its selected public reading. Other profile information is not necessary to browse public forecasts. We do not use readings to make decisions about your employment, credit, immigration or other legal entitlements.

Providers and international processing

Our current infrastructure includes OpenAI’s Sites hosting and ChatGPT sign-in, Cloudflare hosting and database infrastructure, Twilio SendGrid for waitlist email delivery, and Google Analytics when you consent. Authorised operators can access records where needed to operate the service or handle your request. We may disclose information where required by law or to protect legal rights. We do not sell your personal data.

Some calendar and transit requests use the jagannathahora.com web calculation service, hosted on Google Cloud. Such requests contain the selected date, place, coordinates, timezone and calculation settings, not your account identifier, email or saved birth profile. Where a calculation is requested directly from the browser, that provider also receives connection information such as your IP address.

Providers can process data outside the UK. Applicable protections depend on the provider and processing arrangement, including relevant adequacy arrangements or contractual safeguards where required. Contact us for information about the arrangements applying to your data and how to obtain details of relevant safeguards. This notice does not promise UK-only storage.

The current public forecast system uses coded interpretation rules. Live AI conversations are not active, and this release does not send your saved birth profile or Journey events to an external language-model service for a personal reading.

Ask Baba editorial questions

The Ask Baba form saves your question, optional email, relevant page and submission time for editorial review. Signed-in questions are associated with your account and covered by export and account deletion. Anonymous questions have a private removal receipt, are eligible for deletion after 30 days and are cleared during subsequent submission processing. A daily network-address hash and count limit submissions; the raw address is not stored in this table. Providing an email does not subscribe you to marketing. This release does not generate an AI answer, send a reply email or promise a response. Please avoid sensitive personal information. Nothing submitted is used for model training.

How long information is kept

Local preferences and learning records last until you clear them. Analytics consent choices and the configured Google Analytics cookies last up to six months; see our Cookies and browser storage notice. Cookie duration is different from Google’s server-side analytics retention.

Unconfirmed public waitlist requests become eligible for deletion after seven days and are cleared when signup processing next runs. Confirmed waitlist details are retained while providing the updates you requested, until withdrawal or until those updates are no longer relevant. Signup rate-limit records older than 48 hours are cleared during subsequent signup processing.

Account records are kept while needed for their requested function and can be removed using the account deletion control. Support correspondence and security records are retained for the period needed to resolve the issue, protect the service, meet legal obligations or deal with a related dispute. Provider logs and backups follow their own service retention processes; deleting active records does not mean every backup copy disappears immediately. Ask us about a particular record if you need more detail.

Your choices and rights

You can object to processing based on legitimate interests and to direct marketing. You may also request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability where applicable, and withdraw consent. Email baba@chichakra.com. We may need proportionate information to verify your identity. We normally respond to data-rights requests within one month; if a lawful extension is needed, we will explain it.

Use Analytics settings in the footer to decline or withdraw analytics. Clear city/Moon-sign preferences and learning progress through the in-app Privacy controls or your browser settings. Signed-in users can export or delete their saved application data there. This does not delete the underlying ChatGPT account. Public waitlist records are separate: use your email link to withdraw, request a fresh link if it expired, or email us. Do not send sensitive data just to exercise your rights.

You can complain directly to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK data protection regulator. You do not have to complain to us first.

Children, security and changes

ChiChakra is intended for adults aged 18 or over. Please contact us if a child has provided personal information so we can address it. We limit account records to the relevant authenticated user and restrict operational access, but no online system can promise absolute security. We date changes to this notice and will provide additional information before materially different uses of personal data begin.
