Planetary cycles. Lived patterns. Practical context.
Self-knowledge, not fortune-telling
A mirror and a calendar
Most astrology either predicts your future or flatters you. ChiChakra does neither. We use the planets as a mirror and a calendar. The mirror helps you understand the season you're in and how you tend to respond to it. The calendar helps you choose your moments well. You stay the one making the decisions.
Tools for understanding your timing
Rooted in an old system, written for everyone
Thousands of years of observation, in plain English
- ChiChakra draws on Indian (Vedic) astrology, one of the oldest living traditions for reading planetary cycles. It uses the star-based (sidereal) zodiac and reads from your Moon sign, the part of the chart linked to your emotional, inner life.
- You don't need to know Sanskrit, or believe anything, to begin. Every term is explained and every reading is in plain English.
- Your timing is worked out for where you are: 69,771 places in 245 countries, each with its own sunrise, time zone and daylight saving.
Real planetary positions, read with care
How we work it out, step by step.
- We calculate where the planets are, using an open-source astronomy library and the sidereal zodiac (a Lahiri-style setting).
- We read them from your Moon sign. The same sky means something different for each of the 12 signs.
- We apply traditional principles, written down. These include which houses each planet favours, Chandrashtama and Sade Sati. Our rules are recorded and reviewed, not improvised.
- We turn it into something you can use: a clear note, a date or a time.

Coming next: your own cycles

Questions people ask
What is ChiChakra?
A way to understand yourself and your life through the cycles of the planets. It gives daily, weekly, monthly and yearly guidance by Moon sign, worked out for where you live.
Do I have to believe in astrology?
No. Many people use ChiChakra as a reflective tool, a prompt to notice how they feel and act in different seasons. Take what's useful.
What's a Moon sign?
It's the sign the Moon was in when you were born. In Indian astrology it describes your inner, emotional life. If your family has a horoscope, it will be listed there. If not, any birth-chart calculator can find it from your date, time and place of birth.
How is this different from my star sign?
Western astrology reads from the Sun and a season-based zodiac. Indian astrology reads from the Moon and a star-based zodiac. So your Moon sign here is often different from the sign you know.
Is it free?
Yes. Daily guidance, readings, planet cycles and good timing are free. Readings from your own birth chart are coming.
Is anything guaranteed?
No. ChiChakra describes tendencies to help you reflect and plan. It isn't a prediction you have to accept.
ChiChakra is operated by Quaternity Platforms Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company no. 14714481.
