Planet periods, doshas and remedies

Why do bad things keep happening to me? Is it my stars?

Published 01-11-2026 · · How we answer

Short answer

I'm sorry it has been so hard. Your stars are not punishing you, and a run of bad luck is not a verdict on who you are. A difficult transit such as Sade Sati or Ashtama Shani can describe a heavy season, but it doesn't cause every setback. Looking at each problem on its own usually helps more than one big explanation.

How ChiChakra reads this

We would look at the slow transits from your Moon sign: Saturn (pressure and delay) and Rahu–Ketu (upheaval and letting go), plus the running Dasha (planetary period) in a birth chart. As of November 2026, Mesha, Meena and Kumbha Moons are in Sade Sati, and Simha has Ashtama Shani (Saturn 8th from the Moon). If yours is among them, it may explain why things feel heavier, not why they happen.

What can help now

Write the problems down separately: work, money, health, relationships. Each one often has a different next step and a different person who can help.

Choose one small thing you can change this week and do it. A little momentum matters more than a perfect plan.

Look after the basics: sleep, food, movement and time with people who are kind to you.

If things feel heavy or hopeless, please talk to someone you trust, or to a professional such as your GP or a counsellor. You don't have to carry this alone.
