Short answer
A Saturn return is when Saturn comes back to the sign it occupied when you were born. It takes about 29.5 years, so returns arrive roughly at ages 29–30, 58–59 and 88. Western astrology usually times it to Saturn's exact birth degree; in Vedic terms it is Saturn re-entering its birth sign, a stretch of about two and a half years.
How ChiChakra reads this
ChiChakra reads the return in the sidereal zodiac: Saturn's birth sign, then the years transit Saturn spends there again. As of November 2026 Saturn is in Meena (Pisces), so anyone born with Saturn in Meena is in their Vedic return now. Saturn enters Mesha on 3 June 2027, slips back into Meena from 21 October 2027 to 24 February 2028, then settles in Mesha.
What it usually feels like
Saturn returns ask for honest structure: what you are building, what no longer works and which responsibilities are truly yours. Around 29 that often means career, relationships or where you live; around 58, health, legacy and how you spend your time.
It is a time to commit, not to panic. Make one clear plan, let go of what drains you, and expect steady rather than fast progress.
To date yours you need Saturn's sign at birth, which a full birth chart shows. ChiChakra's personal cycles tool is planned.
Good to know
A Saturn return is not Sade Sati, which counts from your Moon sign; the two can overlap but are separate cycles.
