Short answer
As of November 2026, Jupiter (Guru) has just entered Simha, on 31 Oct 2026. It turns retrograde on 13 Dec, slips back into Kataka from 25 Jan to 26 Jun 2027, then returns to Simha until 27 Nov 2027, when it moves into Kanya. What this means for you depends on which house Simha is from your Moon sign.
How ChiChakra reads this
Jupiter is the planet of growth, learning, guidance and good fortune, and it spends about a year in each sign, coming back to the same place about every 12 years. We count its sign from your Moon sign (Gochara, or transit). For a Simha Moon, Jupiter is over your Moon; for Kataka it is in the 2nd house; for Mesha, the 5th.
Using this year well
Find your house: open Major Transits, choose your Moon sign and read which life area Jupiter is lighting up, from money and family to children, partnerships or career.
Plan for the back-and-forth. While Jupiter retraces into Kataka from late January to late June 2027, themes from the past year may return for review before the Simha chapter picks up again.
Meet it halfway. Tradition sees Jupiter's support as something you act on: ask for advice, study, apply and say yes to sensible openings.
Good to know
Jupiter's transit is a supportive backdrop, not a promise of money, marriage or a job. Its strength in your own birth chart matters too, and personal readings are on the way.
